In this year’s last encouraging words, in line with our 2025 theme, I want to give you some final words of encouragement, in view of God, the Promise-keeper. Believers are endowed with power beyond ordinary human capabilities and which extend far beyond our imagination. We have power to make a difference in the world’s condition. We have the power to influence rulers. We have power to restore our environment. We have power to do many other things, but the world’s condition is not the greatest concern among most of us. The specific economic and social changes facing us may seem insurmountable. Some of us may feel that our personal situations are of more relevance than that of the government and the world at large. Do you know that what is going on with you is going on with most people around you? Neighbors and friends do not tell you their trials and secret challenges all the time and in every detail. We do not really need to know much more than the fact that we should pray for them. That is all we need to know about others. Just praying to the Promise-keeping God will address every situation and issue faced by our children, family, friends, neighbors, and governors. Humble, faithful prayer is sufficient for everything. When we are humble enough to trust God’s promises, we will find this to be true. Therefore, I finalize this theme by pointing you to two promises, which I hope you will carry with you, as you face the rest of this year and the years to come: ”If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." This promise of forgiveness and healing is conditional. It requires humbleness and humility, prayer, and repentance. We have the power to make a difference in this world’s present condition. If we humble ourselves to the Lord, pray, seek His face, and turn from evil, sin and disobedience, God will hear and have mercy. He will forgive our sins and the sins of others. He will heal us, our homes, families, local and national leaders. He will do the same for foreign and international peoples and governments. Many people have a problem establishing a prayer life. Many pray only selfish prayers. Many seem to expect God to do what they ask Him to do without realizing that God reads their hearts, motives and intents. He discerns and sees our secrets and selfish incentives. He will not answer a selfish, unfaithful, proud, and amiss request. He is holy, righteous, wise, seeing all, knowing all, and never missing the total heart. We will have power from Him to make a difference, when we comply with His conditions. He will not change His conditions, nor will He lower His standards. He is faithful to Himself, His words and His promises. We, on the other hand, must make changes to meet His conditions, in order to receive the power He has promised us. Then we will realize that we have the power to do all things through Christ Who strengthens us. There is nothing impossible with God. There is nothing too high, low, deep or wide, His grace is sufficient. It is time to be real and honest with God. It is time to come clean with Him. He already sees all and everything, anyway.

Holistic Ministries Inc. hopes to fellowship with you. We hope you will join us very soon to worship, fellowship, and learn of the goodness of Jesus. We believe salvation is an individual journey and that God’s people perish for a lack of knowledge. Jesus came to set us free; His burden is light and His yoke is easy. He already paid the cost for our salvation - when you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that He is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead, then you are saved! (Romans 10:9)
